A BRIEF HISTORY   Kala Bharati formerly known as Allahabad School of Arts was founded by Prof Sukhvir Singh Sanghal  in 1938,which got registered on 28thOct,1957 .

 

It imparted training on Indian Style Painting, Sculpture, Batik, Leather work, various applied arts & handicrafts; music (vocal & instrumental) , dance etc, under renowned and devoted artists, attracting children of eminent families. After coming to Lucknow , the tradition continued until his heavenly abode on 29thNov,2006
 
KALA BHARATI NOW  The classes have been again started by her daughter Dr Stuti Singhal on request of family and friends to revive the tradition of ‘Indian Style Wash Paintings’ which is gradually declining.
