ORGANISATIONAL CONTRIBUTION

1.Founded a cultural institution 'KALA BHARATI' at Allahabad on 2.2.1938, registered on 28.10.1957 to impart training with more stress on Indian Style of painting, sculpture, batik ,leather-work, various applied arts and handicrafts, Music ( vocal and instrumental) , Dance(Bharatnatyam, Manipuri, Kathak and Modern). It got recognized by the National sangit Natak Academy, N. Delhi and state Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow.

2. Founded painting department of the Allahabad University at the request of its authorities.

3. One of the founders of the U.P. Artists Association Lucknow, recognized by both National and State Lalit Kala Academy.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTION

1.Founder director of Kala Bharati since 1938.(Registered and Recognized)

2. Former principal and Professor of Fine Arts, Govt. College of Art, Lucknow( now faculty of Fine Arts of Lucknow University).

3. First member of the Kala Upsamiti of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Allahabad.

4. Patron of Natya Kandra, Prayag.

5. One of the seven members of the Executive Committee of the first All-India Art Federation, established in 1948on the occassion of the first Art Conference in free India, inaugurated by President Late Rajendra Prasad and Addressed by Prime Minister Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Education Minister Late Maulana Azad.

6.Nominated twice by the Uttar Pradesh Government as one of the eminent artists of the state for the governing council of the state Lalit Kala Akademi.

7. Member of the Exhibition working Committee of the International and Inter-Asian Art Exhibitions held in 1946 and 1947 respectively.

8. Member of the Central Sangit Natak Academy , New Delhi and state Lalit Kala Academy , Lucknow as representative of the Kala Bharati.

9. Expert member of the Board of studies for drawing and painting of the Allahabad, Kanpur , Garhwal Universities.

10. Expert member of the Research Degree Committee of the Agra University.

11. Expert member of the selection committee of the Agra University for appointments in 1969.

12. One of the first members of the Boards of Examiners of [[Master of Arts|M.A.]] in drawing and painting of the Composite Agra University , Kanpur University , Garhwal University.

13. Examiner of Ph. D degree in drawing and painting of the Meerut University.
